Jim Jempson - CPGA Head Professional
A native Calgarian, Jim entered the golf business in 1972 as an Assistant Professional at Willow Park. He went on to becoming an Associate Professional at the royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, then Head Professional at Sturgeon Valley Golf Club in St. Albert in 1978. In 1982 Jim returned to Willow Park Golf & Country Club as Head Professional. Jim is an accomplished player, winning many golf titles throughout Alberta and Canada. Along with his successful playing career Jim has been a member of the PGA of Alberta for 37 years serving as education Director, Vice President and Director.
Jamie Lacroix – CPGA Associate Professional
Jamie has been a Golf Professional since 1996. Originally from Saskatoon, Jamie moved to Alberta to work at the Sturgeon Valley Golf Club. The following season he became an Assistant Professional at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton. After four years at Mayfair, Jamie became an Assistant and then Associate Professional at Cottonwood Golf & Country Club in DeWinton. He has completed all four Canadian PGA teaching and coaching certification seminars. He also has many years of teaching experience with the Golf Around programs for women and Link for Women program. Jamie is an experienced club fitter and has certification through PING, Callaway, Titlist and Cobra. Jamie obtained his education from schools in California and Edmonton. He is a former member of the PGA of America and currently sits on the Alberta PGA Assistants Board of Directors, in charge of Professional Tournaments in Southern Alberta.
Brad Fishwick, CPGA Assistant Professional
This is Brad’s first season at Willow Park Golf & Country Club and seventh year working in Calgary. He brings with him a wealth of experience from other Clubs: Sirocco Golf Club, Heritage Pointe Golf Club, Glencoe Golf and Country Club, Sandpiper Golf and Country Club in Edmonton and Eaglepoint Golf Course in Kamloops. Brad’s vast golf experience enables him to offer expertise to beginner, intermediate and advanced golfers. Originally from Prince George, BC., he first attended Camosun College in Victoria then completed the Professional Golf Management program at Grant MacEwan in Edmonton. He has completed all four levels of the CPGA Teaching and Coaching Certification Program and attained his CPGA playability in 2004.
Jeff Leachman, CPGA Assistant Professional
This is Jeff's fifth season at Willow Park. Jeff is a native Calgarian. His passion with golf began as a 13 year old when he was a Junior at the Inglewood Golf and Curling Club. He is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Lethbridge College. Jeff has completed all four levels of the CPGA Teaching and Coaching Certification Program and attained his CPGA playability in 2004.
